1. Where are you from and/or where do you live?
Im an Aussie, currently living in the Nations Captial (Canberra). I’ve lived here almost all my life, but hope to move to Melbourne one day :)

2. What was the 1st thing you made? How did you start sewing?
Oh gosh. I think the first thing i ever made was a little pink jumper for my Piglet toy. This was with the help of my Grandma, who i used to make things with all the time.

3. What role does sewing play in your life?
Alot of roles! I sew alot just for fun or when i get in a super creative mood – also when friends ask super nicely! It plays the role in saving me alot of money! I usually opt to sew something than buy it, especially for parties!
I would love to become a costume designer one day…its what i enjoy most. I hope to study Fashion and Design this year in Melbourne, if not ill end up doing a clothing production course. I need to pull my act together and list some things on my etsy shop, as currently its a name…but i keep getting too busy

4. What is your favorite and what is your least favorite thing about sewing?
Favorite things about sewing is designing things in my head. Jumping from one thing to another until i’ve decided exactly what i want. It’s a good rush. This usually happens when im at work with not much to think about….
And of course the end result – the most exciting part! Regardless of whether its how you planned or not :-)
My least favorite thing about sewing is ironing…carrying the ironing board and setting everything up is just such hard work. Also going to the local material shop. There is one old lady who always ends up serving me…most unhelpful sales person ever.

5. If you could make something for anyone who would it be and what would you make?
I’d make either something for Galliano, or David Bowie! For Galliano, i’d probably make anything he told me too! Dressing him would be far to intimidating. And for Bowie, id make him costumes for the sequel to the Labyrinth!

6. What are you looking for on our site? What do you think should be improved and what do you really like?
I can’t even remember how i found this site. But ever since ive been addicted to it. I come alot for inspiration. Hours are spent looking through creations, and i have a huge folder on my computer dedicated to my favorites. I really like the how to’s section. It’s saved me on many occasions : ) As for the being improved…..i got nothing there!

7. What is your motto?
Hakuna Matata!! Haha but it’s actually “In Omnia Paratus”

Check out Kszabo123’s amazing projects and see what inspires her!

I raise my hand along with Janul! I love your sense for colour and fabric arrangements/super imposition, idiosyncrasy you would have no trouble developing should you be studying Fashion!
