Where are you from and/or where do you live?
“I am from Indonesia, an archipelago country in Southeast Asia. It lies along the equator making the weather warmer, we only have sunny and rainy days. But the city I live is in the highland area, so is not really hot. I work as accountant from Monday to Friday and become a self seamstress in the week end. I wish I can enter into design school someday to improve my sewing skill, because I’m still a beginner.”
How did you start sewing?
“I took a sewing class in junior high school, since that time I have been enjoying this activity pretty much. My first project was a hand sewn blouse, not really perfect but at least it was wearable. For me, sewing is not just a hobby, it keeps me happy when I am getting too stuck with my job.”
“The floral bubble dress is my favorite. I feel so relax and comfortable wearing something loose. The fabric also beautiful and I think it’s a match with the design.”

“I have more free time in the middle of the year, I use that moment to explore my imagination extensively. I enjoy drawing too, so when the idea comes, I make the sketch of what I’ve thinking and then put it in the form of new sewing projects.”
What’s your sewing experience like?
“I can’t sewing during the work days, my sewing time is only on Saturday and Sunday. If I don’t have another activity to do, I use both precious days just to sew… sew… and sew…”
“My bedroom is my sewing space. I put the machine behind the bed, so when I get tired to sew, I just go straight to bed. I work with old sewing machine which is my mom’s, glad it still works pretty well.”
