I subscribed some time in January though I never received a order confirmation but my credit card was charged. Just wondering when I should expect to receive a copy?

I wish the publication or subscription service had a better handle on keeping their subscribers informed…

I subscribed in November of last year…should I have received an issue by now?

I’ve been subscribed to the US version as a present for Christmas. It says it come with 20 free downloads. I cannot find any contact information to ask about how to access these. Do I need to wait for my first physical issue in the mail to get the instructions? If so, do I need to wait until March or something since it’s quarterly? I’m so annoyed right now.

I am subscribed to both the original monthly burda issue and the burda easy. Is it worth it to subscribe to Burda US? and if I subscribe now, will I receive the winter premier magazine? I am particularly interested in some of the patterns in that issue.

My Romania officemate told me about this magazine. I am a big beautiful woman that LOVES fashion AND quality made garments. It is hard to find both in Plus sized. I looked at the magazine and patterns online and my inner fashionista is ROARING with eagerness to get started!! Please remember us larger women (Size 22+; US). WE love fashion too!

Still no info on BURDA USA? Hmm. Maybe it’s only offered at select stores?

Okay BurdaStyle October is here and still no response? No updates? No information of any kind? Will we still see BurdaStyle USA on shelves this month? Has it been cancelled? Postponed? You have a lot of people at the edge of our seats waiting to hear more about the October release of BurdaStyle USA! We have waited and waited, and some of us got impatient, like myself, LOL! (It was part of my birthday present in August so I have been very impatient :P

October is almost here! Any news on what stores will have BurdaStyle USA first? What day can we expect to see it on shelves?

Very excited to see what is in store for BurdaStyle USA!

Has the October issue been released yet? I’ve been checking my local craft and fabric stores for the new US Burda but haven’t seen anything. What stores will be carrying the magazine?

I am confused. One person said 30+ patterns is FEWER patterns than normal and you replied:

“Yes, that’s exactly it. We are fleshing out the instructions so they’re more thorough, more detailed, and easier to understand. And we’ll be adding in new content. The magazine itself will still have the same (if not more) number of pages, but we’re hoping to increase value through what we’re adding in.”

      But later you wrote:

“We will be increasing the frequency of the US magazine each year, and we’re following suit of the German magazine, so we’ll be including all their gorgeous spreads and all their gorgeous patterns.”

So which is it? Is this going to include ALL of the German patterns or FEWER patterns?

What will happen to Burda Plus?

is there a plan in the new American edition of Burda Style to add celebrities (actors, musicians, etc)? For the record, that is one thing I totally enjoy from the English translation of the German magazine- the lack of most celebrities! SOOOOO many US magazines talk about celebrity style that IMHO we do NOT need Burda Style for that.

Like all BurdaStyle magazines, we’re keeping our focus on sewing, patterns, and fashion. We currently have no plans for celebrities and there are no celebs in the first issue. It all depends on what you guys want, so keep vocal about what you like and what you want to see!

This is great news! I started buying the German issue of “Burda Moden” when I was in college (a long time ago). In fact, I just pulled out one of those 30+ year old issues for a pattern to make for my grandson—those patterns are classic and never seem to go out of style. I’ll be watching for the new magazine and more of those wonderful styles! Thanks

There are some of us who are not advanced in skills. I appreciate Burda putting out a magazine that will have instructions. I’m also disappointed in people who think those of us who need a little help don’t deserve a magazine.

I hope no one is suggesting this at all. Burda currently has an easy edition magazine that caters to this, granted it is published once a year or so. I just am personally leary of Burda stripping the content out of the current magazine that I subscribe to. I’m all for appealing to more people of various skill levels but do so in a way where we all can enjoy. = )

Will the Burda Classic issue scheduled for an October release also be available at US retail outlets or should I order this through the subscription service?

The Burda Classic issue is not related to the new Burda US mag. So you’ll have to reach out through subscription services.
