BurdaStyle is a community. For a relatively new sewer, BurdaStyle enables me to dream up all kinds of amazing projects and then break it down in such a way that makes me feel like it is ALL possible! But then it goes even one step further and allows the community at large to demonstrate their amazing projects. Seeing is believing and I am a big believer in BurdaStyle! Love your site.

I like that it is truly an international site and I can get on here and see things made in Sweden and Singapore and beyond even though I haven’t left my living room all the way from budding fashion designers down to first time sewers. It is remarkable how many things I see in my browsing through the site and then the craft blogs that I inevitably click through to while looking that make their way into stores a few monthsor a year later. Lots of room for inspiration.

Seeing finished projects on real people made from Burda patterns by the members is very useful and inspirational. That is giving a bit more relaistic picture of the possible outcome and help choosing which garment would fit the best for my own shape.
