My favorite tutorial is How To: Sew French and Flat-Felled Seams. I kept that page open while I made Charlie bags and referred to it over and over until I learned the technique.

As a long-time sewer, I love to do ‘pretty’ dresses for my young great-nieces; the Vivenne Jumper complete with lining was my choice for the Holidays this year.
Easy to download pattern and directions were clear and understandable. They will love to show off this darling jumper.

I am eager to start sewing the Mad Men headband – my daughter is particular about her headbands so I am on a quest to find the right one! And this one looks easy and so versatile!

My favorite tutorial is “Make a Pattern larger or smaller”. Even though I am a seasoned sewer, I hate pattern drafting! But, I love vintage patterns, and even when you find one in your size, there are lots of adjustments to do. This tutorial is so helpful, and was the first I had ever seen that went somewhere other than the copy machine at Kinkos! I am really excited that Maker Faire is finally going to be close enough that I can get there…

I’m new to sewing and this site has been so helpful. I can’t wait to make the Mimy Bag! I love all the pictures and I think they’ll be very helpful for a beginner like me.
