I’d makeover my master bedroom. It’s just so bare, but has so much potential. I’m slowly starting the work on it now. Looks like a great giveaway. Thanks!

MY space, as in: don’t have to pack it up to set the table room. The look MUST be INSPIRATIONAL but QUIRKY to inspire while suiting my personality.

I would like to make over what we would call our sitting/reading room. It has lots of bright light and a pretty good view. I would make it over in earth tones…greens and browns. My sofa is getting a little worn, and making a slip cover would give it new life.

I would have to makeover my bedroom. It currently has no life. I would love to be able to redo it in “royal” colors…deep purples, burgandys, emerald greens…sigh. A dream!

This may sound strange, but it would be my rear entry/mud room. It’s just a shell right now, needing insulation, sheetrock, the works. But my life would function so much better with it finished! I would love to be greeted with beautiful curtains, chair cushions, lamps and shelving!

We did a partial rebuild of our home and converted our loft at the same time. It’s a great space but not well used – I would love to redo it into a sewing space, three roof windows give it fantastic natural light to work in and the children aren’t too keen on climbing all the stairs to it – the only drawback is it is so far from the garden in the summer – then I tend to do my sewing in the conservatory so maybe blinds in there and some different furniture would be better!

I would love to make over my living room. We moved to a bigger house in 2009 but our living home has taken a backseat to the roof, kitchen, and plumbing projects. Our furnishings from our former house look like doll furniture in this larger space. Its has cramped my style since we are a family who LOVES to have friends and family over. I want a space that’s a sophisticated but fun expression of who we are.

I would give my spare (read: junk) room a makeover and turn it into an invigorating sewing room.

I would have to make over my living room. Throw out all the overdone neutrals and keep going around the room off my curtains (a nice fire engine red). A cover for my chair, maybe a “rug”… floor pillows for guests. The word to describe my ideal living room? Funky.

We’re mid construction on the living room and exterior but my bedroom is the one I’ll spend the most time on. To describe my plans, I’d say ‘luxe’.

If I could make over one room it would have to be the bedroom – and the word I would love to be able to describe it as would be sensual – because it hasn’t looked that way since we had our first child 6 years ago! Our youngest is nearly 3 so we are just reclaiming the bedroom and bed as a kid free zone and would love the decor to reflect that! Just took delivery today of my burdastyle sewing handbook and have only managed to have a quick skim but super excited to get started! Thanks Burda xx

Just one room?? Dang, I’ve got six kids, and a grandkid on the way! I’d do the whole house! I would love to make over my room so that it could be a quiet place for my husband and I to retreat to when we need some ‘Mommy and Daddy’ time!

Well, we are renovating our house so we are somewhere in the process of “making over” every room: the one I am most excited about and yet have the least idea of is our master bedroom: lush.

… If I had the time… I would transform everything in every season!!!! ( It used to be like that when I was single…) But now I have 2 amazing reasons to start on remodelling every step of the HOUSE: I’m going to teach them the «how-to» !!!!

If I could make over any room with sewing projects, it would have to be the dining room. I would like the room to be fun and inviting because I use that room as sort of a family room. It has my sewing space in it as well as homework space for the kids and we do family activities in there (as well as the obvious eating). I would like us to want to go in there and spend time together instead of wanting to not have to fuss with going in there and resort to eating in front of the tv :(

I would say cozy. I hate using that word, and I have for the first time in my life a fully furnished living room, down to wonderful accessories and knicknacks, and although I love how it looks, it doesn’t feel cozy, and it doesn’t get used, lived in, anything.

I would love to make over my bedroom into something cozy and relaxing. Ever since we took down the decorations for Christmas I’ve noticed that my whole house is nothing but brown. I’m starting to make my home into that Warm Parisian Cafe that just makes you want to sit down and have a long conversation. However with my bedroom it’s nothing more than a place we pass on the way to the bathroom. I totally need some inspiration for making my bedroom more of a place where I’d like to stay in bed and read a book.
