I am in the process of converting what used to be the “playroom” into a sewing/crafting room in my finished basement. I want to make it an organized, efficient workspace that feels comfy and cozy where projects can stay undisturbed. Also on the agenda for makeover is my guest room. I want it to feel bright and welcoming but haven’t decided on a color scheme. Inspire me!

I would like to redo my family room. The kids are gone now so the plain, usefulness it had for kids is no longer appealing. I’m getting new carpet, and redoing a chair but what I am looking for is a way to make the room sing, “Look at me!”. every time I walk through it. New window treatments and some different accent pieces are needed. I just acquired a Dale Tiffany lamp and I would like to do something to accent it.

I would like to redo my bathroom somehow. Mine feels a bit “clinical”, a bit too bare, too white but I don’t have money to reform it. Perhaps some new bathmats and shower curtains would do. I’d like it to feel like an expensive asian spa, a place to take long baths and forget about the world outside.

As I am a student, I only have one room to live in and since the New Year has started, I want to change some things and would start with my room – to make some space for all of my books for study AND for my sewing stuff, so that it gets organized and still looks good! I adore the mix of old style mixed with modern style, if i had to choose 1 adjective it would be: inspiring

Transforming empty nest room for family visitor or what could be comfortable for one of two young adult women. One more comfortable with luxurious minimalism vs a classic book collector ( will not buy e-books) film loving, retro Francophile who may also stop in once in a while…

I love remodeling… and it’s about time to give some rooms a face lift! I do need some creative ideas. I want the rooms to be personable… eye-pleasing, yet catchy. Relaxing, but cheerful. You know what I mean? :) Oh, and by the way, I really like making things myself, too!

It’s all about the bedrooms for me. I’ll be moving things around at home once we renovate and will be redecorating my children’s (girl and boy) and my rooms. At the moment it’s all about making do, not about making it look lovely. Can’t wait for the change!

The question for me would be which room doesn’t need a makeover! I am in the midst of changing some things in my living room and could certainly use some inspiration. It needs to be updated and I would really love for it to look more crisp and cosmopolitan.
