Depending on the fabric type, I would use it as a Valance over my curtains with matching tie backs, or over drapes, make a Tube Top, A Tank Top, A Band for a Hat, A Belt, Ruffled Collard, A Braided Necklace, Drawstring Bag, Clutch, Decorative Pillow, Photo Album Cover, Lamp Shade, head band, etc. http://projectsbyMtetar.wordpress.com

I made a scarf dress once for one of the previous challenges. I’ve also seen scarves made into silk panties by cutting them on the bias. I love that idea.

I would embellish blouses with scarves on the collars, cuffs, overlay onto the bodice. Crazy quilted scarves would be a great way to upcycle into new scarves

I think scarves look gorgeous as part of wall art… in an embroidery hoop or a shadowbox.

I would repurpose a scarf into long opera sleeves that can be worn under any short sleeve shirt to keep one’s arms warm in chilly weather ( or air conditioning lol). or—- I would use some to make covers for seatbelts so the rough edges wouldn’t scrape against your skin in summer where there is more skin exposed – eg tank tops etc . would love to learn more ways to repurpose scarves!!!

Amazing book! I would use scarves to make vests. Summer vest from silky ones and fall/winter ones from woolen scarves.

I think that nice flowing sleeves out of a silk scarf as an addition to a simple sleeveless shirt would look very interesting.
