Comment on the blog or connect with us on Twitter to win one of two Lisette sewing patterns by Liesl + Co.
Liesl + Co. is perhaps best known for Oliver + S, their gorgeous collection of children’s sewing patterns and fabrics. Their Lisette patterns, however, appeal to a decidedly older audience: the style-conscious seamstress. For more information, visit their website.
Until Tuesday, June 7th at 12 p.m. EST we are giving away two of their gorgeous patterns. The first pattern is a Passport Dress & Jacket, a downtown spin on uptown chic. The second pattern is a Portfolio Dress, Tunic & Pant, a chic, multi-seasonal favorite. Two winners will be selected to receive one pattern each.
To enter, answer the following question: Where would be the places to wear the garments created from the patterns featured?
If submitting an answer via Twitter, be sure to include the @BurdaStyle tag and the hashtag #comment2win.
Good Luck!

I would wear these dresses to summer parties, church, or going out with gal pals. I love to wear dresses and skirts everyday, especially ones I get to pick out the cute fabric for!

I would wear the dress and jacket to work, I love the summer option portrayed in the pattern envelope, but I can totally see the outfit in fall colours, and even as winter wear for the office. The tunic dress combo cries summer, so I would wear it everywhere, work, the church, a party, a family gathering, the beach, an evening out in some beatutiful destination…. and so on…

I love the portfolio dress. I would make it in two solid colors and wear it to my daughters first communion. I think it’s cute but sophisticated enough to wear to church. (But hurry up: it’s this saturday!!! :)) If I made it in happy patterned fabric, that would be good for almost every occasion in the summer. Then the tunic and pants would go to work with me… Very useful pack that’s for sure! I’d love to recieve them!

I would wear them to a networking event for work where it is really important to be remembered. With the right styling these would be just my style, pretty and professional and when surrounded by women in boring grey suits how any one would ever forget me

I think the garments from both patterns can be so easily combined, so I would certainly make a complete travel wardrob from them – and wear them to my upcoming trip to southern France! I can really picture myself wearing these to the market of a village or taking a walk to the beach…

Holly Molly, I can totally see myself walking the sweet streets of Roma’s Trastevere in these pants+tunic! The dress would be very nice for a spécial work meeting, simple but sophisticated, just what the modern mom needs, an outfit you don’t have to “think” about.

I adore both of these patterns. Where wouldn’t I wear them? I think they’d be super fun to wear out and about on errands, to the library, fabric shopping. They’re the perfect combination of dressy and casual, and very versatile.
