I would use it to start doing my clothes because I ask to my grandmother for it due to I don’t have a sewing machine :(

I would use this with my daughter. She is learning to sew and has sewn some lovely doll clothes, dolls, pillows and potholders already. I would love to have a better machine for her to use as there are so many lovely features available now, most notably the speed control for sewing. She doesn’t mind so much, but I worry about little fingers. The fancy stitches would be wonderful for adding details to quilts, costumes, dresses and whatever other sewing craft comes out way. The summertime is nearly here and there are so many crafts we have yet to do. My poor husband we actually have two bookshelves full of patterns, craft books, notions, fabric.

I would use this machine to sew a costume this year for Halloween and probably make something to wear to the Renaissance festival too.

I really enjoy making costumes for myself and my friends. I would use the Innov-is 40 as a tool to make more costumes and clothes for myself and my friends/family. My sewing machine and I have a love-hate relationship going on right now, haha. It likes to catch the thread a lot making my jobs twice as hard.. ^^;; I live with it though. This is an awesome contest, also an awesome website.. I’ve never heard of it until just now.. I think I’m going to have to tell my friends about it! XD

I would love to win a nice new sewing Machine. It would make the prefect birthday gift for my mother. She taught me everything I know about sewing and I know it is one of her passions in life. I never get to see my mother so happy as when she’s sewing. I would love to be able to give a brand new sewing Machine like this to my mother for her birthday. <3

To win a new sewing machine… AHHH… That would be the best… my daughter and I have started sewing with Liberty Jane patterns and we love it. My sewing machine is very moody it only does what it wants to do. So to win a new one would be totally AWESOME!!!!!

Fun! The fashion project I’d like to tackle is making a jacket. Haven’t tried one yet and I think it would be great on this machine!

With the Innov-is 40, I might actually stop buying clothes and start making my own. This time, for real and not just as a pastime hobby! :D

This machine is perfect! Whoever gets it will be one lucky lady, but if it would turn out to be me, it would make my life little bit easier… I’ve got 4 perfect models, but my sewing machine refuses to cooperate! I’ve started working on my little business – it’s making posh clothes for children. Some might think that children should not wear something that could easily be worn my grown up ladies, but I like to think that there is no harm in dressing up your children in something really nice and a little bit posher that very pink ‘Hello Kitty’… Some lace and satine won’t do any harm to young ladies and good quality, but still interesting, fabric for gentlemen. Gorgeous chlothing for gorgeous children!

Wow, my own little sewing machine would be so envy, but I wouldn’t care, because sometimes it doesn’t like me either.

I have an inkling towards cutting up all my left over t-shirts and throw outs, refashioning them into some super-uber knickers, underwear into outwear – thrifty-licious- creative wonders…. Everyone will benefit – including kitty cat and neighbours dog! I would die for a machine that does it all especially good button holes! Decorative stiching on all sorts of fabrics would work well for me too. I have a tendancy towards creating on less conventional fabrics such as weed mat and plastic bags… Lets see if this machine can keep up with me!

Ah me! I can just see myself sewing some new summer outfits to fit my new size – making my fabric stash get smaller, using embroidery thread from my other stash for fancy stitches, attaching trims from my third stash – all of which makes me happy (my DH very happy since the piles in the sewing room will get smaller!)

OH! The possibilities with this machine!! I’ve been dreaming of making a sundress with some decorative stitching all along the edges but don’t have a machine capable of doing it! How happy I would be to win this and be able to finally make that dress! But I can imagine a million more project ideas already that I could use this machine for!

I would do the happy dance if I won . I love sewing for my gran kids and making doll clothes. and double the fun making the dolls match their ‘Mommies’. I would also love to make myself a new wardrobe. I bought a jeans pattern a while back, I’d love to sew up a pair on my new Brother sewing machine :).

I would love to have this Brothers Sewing Machine! I currently have an old one that doesn’t work and I’m seeking for a newer version and uhm, THIS FITS THE DESCRIPTION. I would appreciate winning this, I’m a fashion-designer-in-the-making. Everyone raves about Brother machines! Especially the newer ones! All I can do is pray and wish!

I’ve been sewing since I was nine and still have a machine that is 40 years old. I bought a new machine a few years ago and it has never really worked well. I’m excited about the possibility of owning a brother as many of the students in my class use these machines and love them. Good luck to me!!

Oh if I could win this for my Mom. Being a mother of 6 girls and a grandmother of 11, she is constantly sewing. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t see her with a sewing machine. But, her last ones were broken or destroyed by my nephew that is autistic and she can’t afford a good one.

I need to sew a new and more professional looking wardrobe for the job I interviewed for yesterday as a Paralegal. I have been schlepping around in jeans, tee shirts and sweats for 5 years and my “work” clothes are all dated looking, damaged [nasty moths or carpet beetles] or don’t fit because I’ve lost weight. Have the fabric, just need a working sewing machine so I can have a working wardrobe whether I get this job or the next one.

I would feel truly honored to have one of these awesome machines and I wouldn’t have any more excuses: I would skip ahead and complete the pieces for my Fall 2011 Urban Mystique Eco-Glam Runway Show and get back to sewing and giving away cute pillowcase and tulle dresses to little girls of low income families for the summer :)

I would love to make all kinds of clothing with this! Its so hard to find clothes that fit to a ‘T’ any more, too narrow in the shoulders, too long, too short, too big in the waist, too tight in the thighs. I love all of the DIY patterns you can get online these days, I’d like to get into making gifts rather than buying them. Two of my friends own kindles and I’d like to make cases for them. I’m trying to decorate my apartment and I’d like to make my lampshade covers. Instead of hunting high and low for a dress that fits okay, I’d like to make one for myself that fits AWESOME! I currently have a really cheap sewing machine that jams at the blink of an eye, it would be so nice to have one of higher quality. And I also love watching project runway and getting ideas from the things they create. I get a creative fever when I watch that show! :)

I sew need a new machine. The one I have you have to unscrew the plate t o bring up the boottom thread, thefeed dongs don’t move on ever fabric right, and it is so frustrating. I would sew more often if I had a beautiful new machinne like this. (pun intended)
