With the slightly flared lower skirt hem and the wide, elaborately topstitched band at the waist, the curves are ladylike in all the right places. Elbow-length sleeves cleverly cover the upper arms and transform this dress to a perfect look for the office.

Sleeveless, above-knee and sweet polka dots are a dress choice that you will reach for all summer long! The oval neckline with slit is absolutely flattering and is visually narrowing for wider shoulders.

129B-072016-B

A sporty piece with romantic details. The jersey dress is lined with a delicate silk satin that peeks out along the turned straps and the lower hem. A playful nuance of the different fabric tones is the desired effect here.

129A-072016-B

This blouse is both proper and stunning. The powder colored outer layer is lined with a longer inner layer in blue. Draping the straps at the shoulder exposes the peek of extra color.

128-072016-B

A streamlined cut that is anything but boring. The seams of the trousers without a waistband are from middle front to middle back rather than on the side.

127-072016-B

Wrap dresses are flattering for every woman – without regard to age or shape. This version of the Must-Have style includes an empire waistline, a standing collar and 7/8-sleeves with a fabric band in a faux cuff look.

126-072016-B

This dress is meant to be youthful and girly with its short sleeves and wrapped piping. The right front gets attached into the side seam for the look of a cross over version, though the front remains closure-free.

125-072016-B

Fluttering flounces at the neckline and the sleeve caps transform the fairly basic blouse construction into a truly romantic wardrobe piece. A small button on the side pulls it together.

124-072016-B

A beautiful blouse for women who like to accentuate the waistline. The cross over bodice and the tying bands define the midriff, while the extended shoulders and attached shaping bands are wonderfully complementary and add visual balance.

Short and sexy dress in black or diva duty in knee-length red. Choose either style featuring the same cool neckline for that extra “wow” factor that makes an added collier unnecessary. The cut-out is created with folded strips of fabric sewn right sides together, one end secured, and then turned to right side out. They are arranged into the zigzag pattern and anchored with a wider attached band for a for a beautiful finish.

A relaxed alternative to the leather jacket. The long cardigan with cut-on sleeves and large patch pockets is finished with knit tulle to hold the structure of the look in place, as well as to keep it from billowing.

122A-072016-B

The doubled jersey cardigan with the patch pockets drops casually around wider hips in a very subtle way. The sleeve gussets make it superbly comfortable. In order to keep the top of the pockets from billowing with this light fabric, choose a lightweight and knit fusible interfacing. They will cascade beautifully without looking weighted.

Breezier than a blazer and more professional than a knitted cardigan. The elegant style includes attached bands that form a shawl collar look and pockets in the side seams. The generous cut fits comfortably over the bodice without creasing.

Great collection! I’m so often disappointed in plus sized patterns because they have no interesting details. This set is wonderful. It makes me want to sew. My only problem will be deciding which piece I want to make first.

I just purchased the 124 Wrap Blouse, and bonus! I was pleased to see that it includes the flounce variation, has the dress lengths, and long sleeve variation (all 4 wrap styles). The directions are for the Wrap blouse, but I’m sure that with little effort, the others can be figured out.

I have been looking over other collections on the site. Why isn’t the option of buying these patterns individually or as a collection (all patterns for one price) presented?

Eveyy once in a while Burda comes up with Plus size designs I would want to sew. This collection is one of them. It’s been awhile since I have seen what I would consider a good Burda Plus collection. I love the trousers and the tank with a “twist”. I even like the variations on each design shown. I think I am going to buy all of these patterns, because I know the next few Plus features will be boring.

Oh, bit disappointed there isn’t a pattern for the shorts. You know you just cannot find plus size shorts patterns. Anybody would think it was illegal ;) Yeah, you could just use a trouser pattern, but still.

Pattern wise, like the concept, but not my style.
