As always, really interesting. One small point … since when did looking at books become a “nostalgic” activity? Did I miss something? Hopefully, we’re not (quite) there yet!

Such a great post! I’m with you Mitmit I find inspiration in comic books, walks to the canal and the market near by. All the colors seem to bring the creativity out of me. I’m super blessed as well the have a boyfriend who is a director, animator and designer who sees inspiration in things I do not see at times. I think I am going to go for a walk with my new camera tonight to draw some inspiration for a weekend of sewing! Awesome post. I am going to have to check out more of Bob’s stuff!

Love these Bob Martin-articles! I like sitting by the habour or take a walk down town. I also find comic books a great source of inspiration. Even just looking at my crayons is sometimes enough. I’m blessed to have a circle of friends that include a lot of artists and a boyfriend who’s an Art Director. Now all I need, is more time on my hands ;-)
