We want you to have fun in the sun! So we are sharing with you these great beach patterns from the June issue of burda style magazine.
Beach time is a collection of patterns that are fun, cute and perfect for a day at the beach. This collection includes patterns for both women and girls! Everything from dresses, tops, cover-ups and even a cool bag. We love all the bright colors and patterns used in this collection and we are excited to wear these styles to the beach feeling the sand on our feet.

Here is an easy to make Halter Top and Dress . It has a fun halter neckline that gathers with a draw string. The dress version has inseam pockets and the top is short and sweet.

This adorable little Girls Dress also makes a stylish beach cover-up. We also offer this free, draft it yourself Beach Bag pattern, It is easy to make and carries all the items you will need for a fun day at the beach.

Above is a Shirt Dress that is perfect for throwing on over your bathing suit. This dress doesn’t have to be worn to the beach, it would also make a cute and stylish day dress!

This practical Beach Poncho is perfect for children at the beach, boy or girl. It is made in terry cloth and is great for drying off after getting out of the water.

We love this Gathered Dress and think it is a great style for summer time. You could wear it to the beach or during the day!

This is an adorable little Bikini for Girls with gathers and a triangle top.

Here we have a cute Girls Tunic that is a great garment to throw on over your bathing suit. It can be worn to the beach or paired with a cute pair of jeans.
Try making one or all of these fun beach patterns. We love how versatile all these styles are and think that they make great summer garments regardless if you are at the beach or not.
Happy Sewing!

Love them all! i do agree with the girls bikini top discussion and would also like to see some more boys patterns. I found this blog called Shwin&Shwin, for all those looking for boys stuff, check it out. Just google Shwin&Shwin.

I would love to see more boys patterns as well as preteen/teen stuff not all of us have 5 year old daughters anymore and most of the adult patterns i find are not appropriate for my 12-13 year old daughter but are also very hard to size down and get the right look.

The second page of instructions for the Beach Bag isn’t correct. Looks like it got mixed up with the directions for the Poncho. :(

Wish the girls bikini had a tank top with it. Not a fan of the bikini top, either (to me the little model even looks uncomfortable in it). The bottoms are adorable.

Totally agree.

Definitely agreed. Why not make a little halter top similar to the adult halter top; it could be waist length or cropped short depending on the girl’s preference :)

Honestly?! Shirt dress? What a monstrosity!!! Interesting pattern – execution OTT… Maybe, MAYBE, a coat, not a day dress… :/

The shorts for the little girl bikini are adorable.. Triangle tops on little girls…I’m not such a fan of. But the shorts are darling.
