I am hoping and praying that I will win one of the newer and neater sewing machines in the giveaway. I have my Grandmothers 1923 Singer Featherlight sewing machine and a 2006 portable Singer machine. It would be great to have a machine with more functions than the ones I have. Thank you for the opportunity to win.

I find this site so inspiring. I hadn’t sewn or knitted for several years (which was crazy because I used to make all my clothes – just got out of the habit) but after I joined a drum class I thought I would like to make a bag for my djembe from some African fabric I had had for years. Then I thought I’d like to make a long summer dress and started looking for patterns on-line. I found this site and made myself a long version of the Maryy dress. I have quite a lot of fabric & wool stashed and I’m beginning to work my way through it.
